Warm-up Activities
  1. Finish the sentence — “The best place to view a full moon is...”
  2. Compare where you live to Antarctica.
  3. On a really hot day, what activities can we do that are — fun, sensible, or unsafe.
  4. Write a short sentence about the weather. Then rewrite the same sentence using exactly twice as many words.
  5. Starting with the word batteries, think of a new word that begins with its last letter (s) and is connected to it by theme. Do the same with the new word and its last letter. Keep going like this until you can get back to batteries by think of a word ending in b. Try to have at least three words.
  6. Name three things that are made from gold.
